Today, our CEO, Mike Davie, took to the stage at the Echelon Singapore 2015 event hosted by e27. In front of packed, standing-room-only audience, Mike presented “Data Monetization: Opportunity, Myths, and Design.”
So many interesting topics were discussed, from the magnitude of the usable data available worldwide (16 zettabytes = 1 TRILLON gigabytes!) to dispelling common misconceptions of corporate data. We believe corporate data—one of the most underutilized corporate assets—can be a significant source of revenue, influence, impact and brand. Judging by the audience response and reception, many more people agree as well.
As an enabler of the data economy, DataStreamX is making more companies and institutions aware of the opportunity their data affords them. As our marketplace grows, we come ever closer to the tipping point where data monetization is a core strategy for all institutions.
